These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to orders placed by consumers through the Elvaroo Pets online store.

2. Products

The essential characteristics of each product are presented on its product page.

Elvaroo Pets makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, dimensions and product information. Minor differences in appearance or color may occur due to screen settings, lighting or manufacturing variations.

3. Prices

Product prices are displayed on the website in the currency applicable to the customer's market.

Any applicable shipping charges, taxes or other charges will be displayed during checkout where required.

Elvaroo Pets may change its prices at any time. However, products will be charged at the price displayed when the customer places the order, subject to correction of obvious pricing errors and applicable law.

4. Orders

The customer is responsible for checking the products, quantities, delivery address and other information provided before confirming an order.

After an order is placed, the customer receives an electronic confirmation.

Elvaroo Pets may refuse or cancel an order in legitimate circumstances, including suspected fraud, payment failure, obvious pricing errors or product unavailability. If payment has already been collected for an order cancelled by Elvaroo Pets, the corresponding amount will be refunded.

5. Payment

Payment is made using the payment methods offered during checkout.

Payments may be processed securely through Shopify Payments and other payment providers made available on the store.

An order may be processed after payment has been successfully authorized or confirmed.

6. Shipping

Elvaroo Pets ships to the destinations available during checkout.

The currently estimated delivery time is 7 to 11 business days, depending on the destination and delivery conditions.

Delivery times displayed on the website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Mandatory consumer rights concerning delivery deadlines remain unaffected.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.

7. Right of Withdrawal

Where the statutory right of withdrawal applies, particularly for eligible consumers in the European Union, the consumer may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without having to provide a reason.

To exercise this right, the customer must clearly inform Elvaroo Pets of the decision to withdraw before the applicable deadline.

Statutory exceptions to the right of withdrawal remain applicable.

8. Returns

Before returning a product, customers should contact Elvaroo Pets at the email address indicated above.

Products should be returned in an appropriate condition and packaging, subject to the customer's statutory right to inspect the goods and applicable consumer law.

Unless otherwise required by law or the product is defective, damaged or incorrect, return shipping costs may be borne by the customer as stated in the Returns & Refund Policy.

9. Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will be issued using the applicable payment method in accordance with the Returns & Refund Policy and mandatory consumer law.

Processing times by banks and payment providers may vary.

10. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

Customers should contact Elvaroo Pets as soon as possible if a product arrives damaged, defective or different from the product ordered.

Photographs or other reasonable information may be requested to help assess the issue.

This provision does not limit the customer's statutory rights.

11. Legal Guarantees

Consumers benefit from the mandatory legal guarantees provided by applicable consumer law, including, where applicable, the French legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory rights that cannot legally be waived.

Personal information collected in connection with orders is processed in accordance with the Elvaroo Pets Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

13. Intellectual Property

The content and branding of the Elvaroo Pets website are protected by applicable intellectual property laws where applicable.

Unauthorized reproduction or commercial exploitation of protected content is prohibited.

14. Liability

Elvaroo Pets remains responsible for its obligations in accordance with applicable law.

Elvaroo Pets shall not be held responsible for events outside its reasonable control to the extent permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights where exclusion is prohibited by law.

15. Consumer Mediation

In accordance with applicable French consumer law, consumers may have access to a consumer mediation procedure free of charge after first attempting to resolve the dispute directly with Elvaroo Pets.

The identity and contact details of the consumer mediator designated by Elvaroo Pets will be provided here once the applicable mediation agreement has been finalized.

16. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable French law, without depriving consumers residing in another country of any mandatory protections granted to them by the law applicable to their situation.

Consumers may exercise any rights concerning jurisdiction and dispute resolution available to them under applicable law.
